Govt transfers 6 KAS officers

The J&K government today ordered transfer and posting of six KAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration.As per a government, Mohammad Hussain Mir (KAS), Special Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Deputy Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi.Similarly, according to local news gathering agency, GNS, Gulzar Ahmad Dar (KAS), Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, tourism department.Khalid Jehangir (KAS), Secretary to the Leader of Opposition, Rajya Sabha, has been recalled from deputation and posted as Deputy Labour Commissioner, New Delhi. He shall hold charge of the post of Deputy Resident Commissioner, Mumbai, besides supervising JK House Amritsar and Chandigarh, in addition to his duties.Abdul Hamid (KAS), awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department.Ashok Kumar (KAS), awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary Transport Department.Lastly, Haris Ahmad Handoo (KAS), awaiting orders of adjustment, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the General Administration Department.
