People’s Democratic Party spokesperson Nayeem Akhtar Monday said that Mehbooba Mufti has been authorized by party to talk to Governor on Government formation.“The decision was taken at the party’s Legislature meeting that was held at Gupkar on Monday. It was the first formal Legislature meeting that took place after the demise of Mufti Muhammad Sayeed. Several issues were discussed in the meeting. Party president Mehbooba Mufti was authorized to keep party’s point of view before the Governor of the State,” Akhtar told CNS.“Mehbooba Ji is meeting the governor Vohra to convey the party stand. She will convey the decision of the legislative party which has already authorized her take on the final call on the government formation,” he said. (CNS)
