The Executive Committee meeting of State AYUSH Society under National AYUSH Mission, J&K, was held here today under the chairmanship of Secretary H&ME Dr. Mandeep Kumar Bhandari.A detailed power point presentation was given by State Program Manager on the activities and achievements registered under the Mission.Dr. Bhandari laid emphasis on following integrative approach to National Health Mission (NHM) and National AYUSH Mission (NAM) for providing better health care services to the society at large and filling the existing gaps in health sector and also to provide choice of treatment to patients.The meeting was attended by Additional Secretary Health and Medical Education Department, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Mission Director National Health Mission Dr. Mohan Singh and the officers of Directorate General of Indian Systems of Medicine, J&K Jammu.Dr. Bhandari also inaugurated the Biomedical Attendance System installed in the DG ISM office. The Directorate of ISM has also installed Biometric Attendance System in AYUSH Unit GMC Srinagar and AYUSH Unit at JLNM hospital and Government and Unani Hospital Srinagar.
