District Admn organises poster making competition at Samba Fort

District Administration Samba in collaboration with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Samba today organized a clean-up drive and poster-making competition at SAMBA Fort today. The event was organized as a part of Swachh Bharat Initiative ‘Clean Monument Campaign’. First a cleanliness drive was launched in the fort area and later a poster making competition with Samba Fort as the theme was organized. Students from classes 6th to 9th participated in the competition. The entries shall be submitted at New Delhi and there shall be 100 regional winners and 10 national winners from the campaign launched across India.Dr Lalit Gupta, Art Historian and Dr Jagdeep Singh, Retd. Principal were resource persons on the occasion. They briefed and motivated participants about preserving our cultural and heritage sites.On the occasion S.M Sahni, convenor Jammu INTACH, CEO Samba O.P Bhagat, Dr Sonia Jasrotia Coordinator Samba INTACH, Sunita Sambyal Principal GGHSS Samba, Veena Tikoo ZEO Samba, Research scholars INTACH Ashwani Kumar, Rajesh Sharma and Satwant Singh Rissam were also present.
