Oakridge International School conducted workshop on IB curriculum for parents and children. The motive of this workshop to was to provide information about globally recognized curriculum which is inquiry-based and equips students with self-confidence, preparedness, organizational and research skills. Mr. Gustav J. Gropp, globally renowned IB expert and Principal, Oakridge International School, Newton Campus (Hyderabad) was keynote speaker.
While speaking at this occasion the Executive Principal Gustav J. Gropp said that IB curriculumoffers a comprehensive and challenging course which actively engages students in learning and encourages them to develop critical thinking and gain exposure to intercultural communication across different countries. IB curriculum makes Child global ready, encourages students to consider both their local and international environment and develop research skills proven to help them in higher education. It makes child able to engage with rapidly changing world. She further Informed that IB students have a smooth transition to IBDP for higher education. IBDP graduates are welcomed by the world’s leading universities. Later, changes in the education pattern, strategies, teaching process were also discussed.
