Ashok Nagar (West Bengal) , 21 Jan 2016

Calling on people to vote fearlessly and bring the BJP to power in West Bengal, union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday asserted that the Centre would provide any number of central forces that the Election Commission may requisition for the upcoming assembly polls.Addressing a party rally here in North 24 Parganas district, the BJP leader said the people's aspiration to bring change in the state gets defeated due to electoral malpractices."People here say that they want to bring change, but express helplessness because poll booths are captured here."So, as India's home minister, I want to assure the entire people of Bengal, cast your votes fearlessly in this assembly polls. I will tell the Election Commission, whatever central forces may be required, we will provide all of that," he said.

Rajnath Singh said if his party was voted to power, it would usher in real change in the state, by removing poverty and creating jobs."You have given us power in parliament and now it is time to give us power in the assembly. I assure you we will do whatever it takes to change the fortune of Bengal.""So vote fearlessly and bring change in Bengal. I assure you we will use all our might to drive away Bengal's poverty, provide jobs to the youth. Our Vision is to change the condition of Bengal," he said.
