Punjab To Run Smart Residential Secondary Schools - Maluka

The Education & Language Minister Punjab Sikandar Singh Maluka has affirmed that the Punjab Government would established six smart residential senior secondary schools at Bathinda, Mohali, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala and Ludhiana for brilliant and meritorious students in the state, who score minimum 80% marks in matriculation.Education Minister further said that the Punjab Government will itself run and managed these smart schools in which all out facilities would be provided for preparing the brilliant and poor students for competitions in various fields and to develop their overall personality. Minister further said the state would also engage dedicated and best teachers for this purpose to impart education, vocational training and excellence in sports.
