About 53,000 children in the age group of 0-5 years were administered polio drops in Reasi on Sunday.ADDC Bhawani Singh Rakwal inaugurated the drive at District Hospital Reasi.CMO Dr Parminder Singh, CEO Vinod Soni, DSWO and staff of health department were present on the occasion.ADDC informed that in the next two days door to door campaign will be carried out by ASHA, anganwari workers and volunteers to ensure cent percent coverage under the programme .
CMO informed that as many as 364 booths were constituted throughout the district besides 18 transit camps, 12 mobile teams along with 79 supervisors, 8 district monitors were also deployed in the district.On 13 km-long Katra Vaishno Devi track, booths were set up at Bhawan, Adhkawari, Sanjichat and charan paduka for administering polio drops.
