Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) organized a Seminar on “Health Management - Issues & Problems” recently at University Business School (UBS), Panjab University (PU). Wing Commander, Dr.Gurbir Singh, Regional Advisor Fortis, Mohali was the key note speaker on the occasion. Mr A.K.Gandhi, President, CMA presided over the event.Delivering the lecture Dr Gurbir Singh explained beautifully the concept of “Ageing Gracefully”. He described the concept of ageing with such precision & simplicity that the audiences lost track of time. The dissemination of knowledge about health risks of different stages of life, their symptoms and practical tips was the high point of the lecture.
Gurdip Singh Deep, the Regional Vice-President of the AIMA was the Guest of Honour. Ms Madhulika Kak, Vice President, CMA was the Master of Ceremony. Mr A.K.Gandhi Gandhi presented bouquet to welcome the speaker. The audience for the lecture came from all walks of life such as Professionals, Army Officers, University Professors & students etc. as the lecture offered something for everyone. Dr Singh also spoke about the various myths that are generally related with ageing and helped changed the perception of many with scientific facts & figures. Later a question answer round was held with the audiences where Dr Gurbir Singh enhanced the knowledge of the audiences with his experience.The Master of Ceremony and Vice President CMA, Ms Madhulika Kak extended vote of thanks for the helpful tips. She also presented the key note speaker with a memento as a token of remembrance.
