In connection with Republic day celebration, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, convened a meeting of officers here today.The meeting was attended by the Officers of District Administration, J&K police and other concerned departments.The meeting held threadbare discussion with regard to necessary arrangements for the national event. It was told that the main function will start with Shahnaiwadan at S.K Sports Stadium.The chief guest will hoist tricolour which will be followed by March past in which contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, NCC, Fire & Emergency Services and students of various school will participate.The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers of R&B, PHE, PDD, Information Department, Youth Services & Sports, Education, Health Services & Municipal Committee to ensure all necessary arrangements are put in place well in time for smooth celebrations of national event.
