To review updation of NPR and seeding of Aadhar in the NPR database, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar here toady.The Deputy Commissioner informed that a mobile van is being pressed into service from 20th January to 3rd Febuary,2016 to create massive awareness among the people for making Aadhar Cards and to capture the biometric of left out population in the district.The meeting had a review of tehsil wise progress regarding updation of NPR and Tehsildars were directed to complete the process within 2 days and to find out the areas where the coverage is extremely low. Besides, the status of Permanent Enrollment Centres (PEC) was also reviewed in the meeting.Among others AC(R) , DSEO Kathua, CEO MC Kathua , DEPO Kathua, Tehsildars, EOs and AD Kathua also attended the meeting.
