On the first Friday after former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s death, as customary, Mehbooba Mufti with her family and partisans visited Dara Shikoh garden and prayed at the grave of her father.Mehbooba was accompanied by her brother, Sayeed Tasaduk, and her sisters besides senior Peoples Democratic Party members.Amid moist eyes, floweral wrath was laid on the grave of Mufti Sayeed by his family and party members.Hundreds of PDP workers also paid homage to the late leader.PDP thanked party cadres and people of the state in general including various social organizations, unions and associations who stood with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.“People have immense respect and love for late Mufti Sahab and our party is thankful to them for remembering him in their prayers and being with us. He thanked the party workers who sympathised with the leadership on mufti Sahab’s sad demise.” (CNS)
