In order to review and finalise the arrangements for Republic day celebration at Tangmarg, Sub-divisional Magistrate Tangmarg, Abdul Quyoom today chaired a meeting of Officers of civil and police departments.The meeting took a comprehensive account of the security arrangements, refreshment, seating and heating arrangements. It was informed that cultural programmes will be presented by school children of various educational institutions.Meanwhile, the concerned were directed to keep availability of snow clearance machines at Tangmarg. Calling for cooperation and coordination among different departments, the SDM stressed upon the officers to put every step in place for smooth and peaceful conduct of the function.Meanwhile, Republic day arrangements were also reviewed at Pattan under the chairmanship of Sub-divisional Magistrate.
