Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today launched a website of famous Shaktipeeth in northern India Mata Chintpurni of Una district prepared by the Temple Trust.He said that with this facility the pilgrims would not only witness live Arti of Mata Chintpurni but also be able to pay their obeisance on-line through this website. He said the website would enable the pilgrims to also make on-line booking of Sarai Bhawan being run by the trust. The website had been prepared in Hindi, English and Punjabi languages for facilitating the pilgrims. Chief Minister said that the website contains comprehensive information as how to reach Chintpurni temple besides historic & religious significance and the facilities being provided for the pilgrims.
Deputy Commissioner & Commissioner of temple trust Shri Abhishek Jain, presented a portrait and a pious chunri and prashad to Shri Virbhadra Singh. He said the services of Shri Kuldeep Kumar Verma, Director Chandigarh based specialist agency Ink Web Solutions were taken to construct this website. He said the pilgrims from all over country and abroad would now be able to pay their obeisance from their homes. He informed that over 40 lakh pilgrims visited Maa Chintpurni last year.Forest Minister Shri Thakur Singh Bharmouri, Industry Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, MLA Chintpurni & Chairman Finance Commissioner Shri Kuldeep Kumar, Chief Secretary Shri P.Mitra, Additional Chief Secretaries Shri V.C.
