State Congress President Ghulam Ahmed Mir Wednesday revealed that his party was informed by some People’s Democratic Party members that they are in strong alliance with Bhartiya Janata Party and once the state mourning will be over, they will form the government once again with the support of BJP.
“What I was told that PDP-BJP Government will get formed after the state mourning of seven days will be over. The mourning period will be over today (Wednesday) and I can tell you with authority that within a day or two these two parties will again form the government in the State,” Mir told CNS.
Responding to a question, Mir said that Congress did not and will never offer unconditional support to PDP. “We can’t beg before them but being the single largest party it is the PDP which has to take the final call. Every time we can’t approach them and there is no need to approach them as we know they can’t disappoint BJP,” he said. (CNS)
