The three days workshop for PHP-MySQL, under the aegis of spoken tutorial project-IIT, Bombay conducted at GGS-Sachdeva Group of Institutes, Gharaun. Around 350 Students from different colleges of Chandigarh and Punjab participated in this workshop. The workshop helped the students to develop web designing skills from initial steps of operations to advance features i.e. creating, designing & managing website. S Surinder Pal Singh Sachdeva & Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairperson, GGS-Sachdeva Group presided over the workshop. While addressing the media, Dr.G S Virdi, Director, GGS- Sachdeva Group said that “IIT-Bombay had set up its first nodal centre in Punjab at GGS- Sachdeva Group to introduce and make available open source technology in computer science to engineering students in the state under the Ministry of Human Resource Development Project Dr.Ravinder Khanna, Principal, Sachdeva College of Engineering for Girls awarded e-certificates to students who were cleared an online test conducted by IIT- Bombay Project experts .
