CM releases book on Skill Development Allowance Scheme

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today released the book titled “Koushal Vikas Bhatta Yojna-2013 (Skill Development Allowance Scheme) brought out by the Labour and Employment Department at Dharamshala.Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the book would be very useful for the educated unemployed youth of the State who were interested to get benefit under the scheme for their skill up-gradation. He said that the skill development allowance scheme would enable them to develop their skill thereby helping them to take up employment and self-employment in different sectors.The book contains details of format of application, affidavit, trainings admissible under the scheme and list of Industrial Training Institutes/Vocational Training Providers (VPTs) in covered under the scheme based on modular employable skills besides other important information about the Scheme.Irrigation & Public Health Minister Smt. Vidya Stokes, Food & Civil Supplies Minister Shri G.S Bali, Industries and Information & Public Relations Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, Urban Development Minister Shri Sudhir Sharma, Excise & Taxation Minister Shri Prakash Chaudhary,  Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr.(Col) Dhani Ram Shandil, Chairman, 4th State Finance Commission Shri Kuldeep Kumar, MLA's Shri Ajay Mahajan, Shri Yadvendra Goma and Shri Sanjay Rattan were also present on the occasion.
