The present coalition Government has initiated massive developmental process across the State, which are being funded liberally. The Omar led Government has taken up many a developmental projects in Eidgah Constituency.This was stated by the Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Mubarak Gul while laying foundation stone of Habibullah Nadaq Memorial Community Centre in Safa Kadal which is coming up at Rs. 1.25 crore.Mr. Gul said that the present Government has ushered the Eidgah Constituency in an era of development. He said that work on 4 Community Centres, road and link road, development and beautification of Eidgah ground is apace. Besides, a Maternity Hospital is also coming up in Noor Bagh area of Eidgah Constituency, street lights from Safa Kadal to SKIMS are being installed while Jehlum Banks are being developed and beautified in the area. The handicrafts market in the area is also being developed.
He urged the artisans to come forward and avail the benefits of ‘UMEED’ scheme, introduced for their welfare by the State. Later, Mr. Gul addressed a public gathering in Nawab Bazar.The Speaker was accompanied by district officers.
