Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ramnagar, Dhirendra Sharma today reviewed arrangements being put in place for Republic Day celebration at Tehsil Ramnagar of Udhampur district.It was decided in the meeting that the Republic Day function would be held at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramnagar where the chief guest would hoist the National flag at 9.55 AM followed by march past by the contingents of NCC and school children of various Govt. and private educational institutions. Cultural programme by school students would also be presented on the occasion.
The meeting also held threadbare discussion on various arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like seating, barricading, drinking water and power supply, sanitation, first- aid, security, and transport and traffic regulations.The SDM urged upon the officers concerned for ensuring better coordination and making effective arrangements pertaining to their departments. Among others, SDPO Ramnagar, AEEs from PHE, and PDD and other Tehsil heads of various department and HoDs of educational institutional were present in the meeting
