Taking a significant decision, the Punjab government has promoted seven IAS officers which include First above Super Time Scale for three IAS officers of 1991 batch and Super Time Scale for four IAS officers of 2000 batch with effect from 1.1.2016.Three IAS officers of 1991 batch namely Mr. A. Venu Prasad, Mr. SR Ladhar and Mrs. Seema Jain (Proforma Promotion) have been promoted as Principal Secretaries/Financial Commissioners.Similarly, four IAS officers of 2000 batch namely Mr. Rahul Tewari, Mrs. Alaknanda Dayal, Mr. Kumar Rahul and Mr. Arunjit Singh Miglani have been promoted as Secretaries to the Government of Punjab and are given the super time scale of IAS.
