The Career Counseling Cell of GGS-Sachdeva Group of Institutes in collaboration with Infosys Technologies organized a lively interactive session in Gharaun Campus, today. Around 450 Final Year students of B.Tech, MBA & MCA attended the session. The Interactive session was chaired by S.Surinder Pal Singh Sachdeva & Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairperson, GGS-Sachdeva Group; Dr.G S Virdi, Director GGS-Sachdeva Group, Dr.S K Mahala, Vice-Principal, GGS-College of Modern Technology and HODs & faculty of various departments.
The collaborator of the Cell educated the student community about the relevance of IT in business, vital aspects of raising the aspiration level based on their strengths, thereby stressing majorly on creating an awareness of soft skills to get employment. An aptitude test and extempore were also conducted.Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairman, GGS- Sachdeva Group said that appreciated the efforts of the department for organizing the session for the students.Dr. Ravinder Khanna, Principal, Sachdeva College of Engineering & Technology for Girls gave vote of thanks .He further added that “we usually organizes these kind of lectures for our students”. These kind of lectures do not just give extra knowledge to the students but also prepare students for the professional roles through industry interfaces and exposure visits”.
