District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today inaugurated free AYUSH aid and awareness camp at Wussan Ganderbal. The camp was organized by Department of Ayush, Ganderbal.Gynaecology, skin, geriatric and general medicine facilities were made available in the camp.Doctors, Para-medical staff and locals were present on the occasion. About 1015 people were treated in the camp and free medicine was distributed among the patients.Appreciating the role of AYUSH, the District Development Commissioner directed authorities to organize such camps in other rural, far-flung areas of the district as well. He appealed to the people to come forward and take benefit of such welfare camps. Interacting with people the District Development Commissioner assured them that their demand of an Ayush dispensary would be taken up with concerned quarters. Later the District Development Commissioner visited under construction Tehsil office building at Lar and took stock of construction work there. The District Development Commissioner also conducted surprise inspection of different Tehsil and Block offices.
