On the directions of the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar, Sunday visited the Army hospital in Badami Bagh Cantonment here to inquire about the well-being of two police officials who were injured in a militant attack in south Kashmir's Bijbehara last Friday.Mr Akhtar met the doctors who are treating the injured police officials SDPO Bijbehara, Irshad Ahmad Rather and his security guard, Tanveer Ahmad, who suffered grievous injuries in the militant attack on a police party in Goriwan market of Bijbehara.The doctors apprised the Minister about the condition of the injured patients who are recovering from the multiple bullet wounds suffered during the attack.

While appreciating the efforts of police in working under difficult circumstances, the Minister directed the hospital staff to provide best treatment to the victims. Inspector General of Police (Kashmir), SJM Gilani, also accompanied the Minister during the visit.The Minister appreciated the efforts of the doctors of Army Hospital in treating Dy SP Irshad Ahmad and his security guard Tanveer Ahmad.Akhtar prayed for early recovery of the injured police officers and his security guard.
