District Development Commissioner Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar today convened a meeting to review the progress of Committees constituted for smooth implementation of National Food Security Act (NFSA) at conference hall Maitra today.The meeting was attended by ADDC, Ravinder Sadhu, ACD Romin Sheikh, GM DIC, Rakesh Kumar, DSWO, Varunjeet Charak, AD Employment, AD Handicraft, AD CAPD, Ab. Rashid, Tehsildars, BDOs, TSOs and many other district officers besides field functionaries of concerned departments.DDC while taking stock of progress on implementation of NFSA at district level directed the committee members to submit updated list of deserving beneficiaries within prescribed time to ensure timely uploading of data. He also directed the officers to strictly scrutinize the record by cross referring them with existing database at district informatics centres.
