National Conference today kick started ‘Awmi Rabita Muhim’ from Dooru-Shahbad constituency situated at the gate way of Kashmir. While kick starting the programme at Verinag National Conference leader and Member of Legislative Council Dr Bashir Ahmad Veeri , accompanied by District president Dr Mohmmad Shafi, constituency In-charge Advocate Farooq Ahmad Ganie, Vice block president Zaffer-ul-Khan, asked workers to reach every house hold and garner support for the party.Addressing party workers at Verinag Halan, Rian Chowgund, Nowgam, Kapran and other areas, the NC leader said that people feel insecure, neglected due to anti-people policies of ruling PDP-BJP.Directly targeting PDP-BJP alliance, Veeri said that government has lost its credibility even before the birth as nothing felt to have been done by the government during last almost one year which is otherwise felt by a common Kashmiri.Asking PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, “Where the days are when (Mehbooba Ji ) used to shed crocodile tears even for nothing but soon after the formation of government she has gone into hibernation.
Veeri said that crying for removal AFSPA, killings, crackdowns and 370 remained main agenda for PDP during the opposition tenure but go through the statements of Mehbooba mufti days are not far when PDP will sell out the Kashmir like it was sold out in early eighteen century.He reaffirmed the stand of party to uphold that unique status of Jammu Kashmir with honor and dignity of its inhabitants as envisaged in manifesto of Naya Kashmir and National conference.Veeri during the visit released 6 lakh rupees out of constituency development fund for different developmental works at Verinag Halan,Kapran, Khagund Bumna, Gutligund, Baghwanpora Verinbag, Chuntipora, Verinag kanilpora Dr Veeri along with party leaders also visited the fire sufferers of Kparan and assured all possible help to victim families.
