B.Ed Exam Mess:Hundreds of B.Ed students not received their roll numbers

‘Colleges asking us to appear as backlog students in March’

Hundreds of B.Ed students who are supposed to appear in examinations from December 22nd this month have not received their Roll Numbers and Admit Cards as a result they have been wandering from pillar to post to get the same. These students told CNS that college authorities have informed them that separate examination will be conducted for them in March 2016. “The College authorities have been forcing us to appear as backlog candidates in March while we are ready and prepared for December examination. This in injustice towards us and why should we suffer for the blunder done by Kashmir University and respective colleges,” a B.Ed student from Kashmir College of Education Sopore told CNS.Principal Kashmir College of Education Abdul Rashid said that a separate examination will be conducted for those students who have either left Valley or have not received their roll number slips. He added that some 21,000 students will appear in March examination. “University will soon come up with a notice in this regard,” he said.Controller Examination Kashmir University Abdul Salam said that these students can appear as backlog candidates in March. “Let us conduct the examination in December first later on we will think about the left out students,” he said.(CNS)
