The State Vigilance Commission has granted time for submission of report to the Housing & Urban Development Department vis-a-vis a complaint pending against Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority with the Commission.Today, the State Vigilance Commission while proceeding on the complaint against Vice Chairman Jammu Development Authority in connection with illegal allotment of land, regularization of some contractual employees in violation of standing rules and norms etc, the Special Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department appeared before the Commission and sought some more time for submission of the report in order to clarify the observations pointed out by the Commission.
It is worth to mention that the Commission in its previous order had directed Special Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department to appear in person alongwith the report in the matter.Today, when the case came up for hearing the Special Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department requested for grant of some more time for submission of report. The Commission while accepting plea of the said officer granted four weeks time for submission of the requisite report. (CNS)
