Dr. Nazeer Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Kashmir (SKUAST-K), called on Governor, N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, here at the Raj Bhavan today.Dr. Ahmad briefed the Governor about certain administrative and academic issues and the to-date status of the ongoing Academic Session, recent initiatives to fill up vacant staff positions and functioning of the KVKs.The Governor and the Vice Chancellor also discussed the recent initiatives to boost research and extension activities of the University and the action under way to promote high-density apple cultivation in the Valley.
