Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Friday said India will soon have separate railway tracks in the entire country for the goods train, which contributes to over 25 percent of the country's trade."The rail ministry is intensively working on separate rail tracks for goods trains. Till now the same track has been used by both passengers and goods trains and that prevented us from using railways to boost up the trade in the country," Prabhu said at the Aaj Tak summit here.Emphasising that the construction of separate railway tracks will be completed in next three years, he said: "Till the time the new tracks are created, the government has initiated to increase the numbers of coaches on the existing goods trains to increase the trade."Stating that Indian railways were facing a revenue crunch, the minister said they are scrutinising some new initiatives through which the railways will be able to generate revenue. He also said several new trains from all corners of the country will be started soon.
