Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said that the people of Majha were fully geared up for the proposed 14 th December Sadbhawna rally being held at Goindwal Sahib to give a befitting reply to the anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh forces and their huge presence will be a symbol of communal harmony and peace in the border state.Adressing an impressive gathering of SAD workers from Majha region here at Gurdwara Baba Budha Sahib ji , the Cabinet Minister said that it was a deep rooted conspiracy against the Punjab to disturb the peace for narrow political gains by some anti-state forces. Urging the people to remain aware of them, the Minister said that “Congress has a long history of drawing political  mileage  across the country by painting Sikh community as anti nationals and it was only congress that had attacked the Sri Darbar Sahib”. He said that SAD-BJP Government under the leadership of S. Parkash Singh Badal was fully committed to maintain peace and communal harmony in the state and Sadbhawana rallies have been organized to instill a sense of security besides strengthening the communal harmony in the state.

Talking about the statements given by Punjab Congress President Captain Amarinder Singh , the Minister said that his arrival would not make any difference rather a zero impact as people of Punjab have already rejected him twice in 2007 and as well as in 2012. He said that “Captain has already admitted his defeat by urging other spent forces to join congress for 2017 elections’. Questioning the credentials of Captain Amarinder Singh, he said that initially he regularly called Rahul Gandhi a naïve in politics but now he was hell bent to appease same immature politician.Majithia advised the AAP leaders to stage dharna at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence against the looting of public resources by 400 percent increase the pays of his MLA and Ministers even more than the Prime Minister of country. He said the people of Delhi have now fed up with the policies of AAP Government in Delhi as they have adopted anti people policies against their promises.

Advocating the implementation of recommendations of Swaminathan Commission for the welfare of farming community , the Minister said that SAD-BJP Government have taken all possible steps to bail out the farmers from crisis. He said that it was high time for Union Government to come forward to bail out the entire farmering community by extending more subsidies on diesel, fertilizers and pesticides besides increasing MSP for all crops by keeping in view the ever increasing production costs. The Cabinet Minister pointed out that rather stalling the Parliament proceedings, Congress should come clean on National Herald case. He said that “Parliament is for to raise the issues pertaining to masses not for individuals.” Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included former MP Raj Mohinder Singh Majitha, Talbir Singh Gill, Ranjit Singh Waryam, Major Shivi, Media advisor to Minister Sarchand Singh, Jodh Singh Samra, Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Tarun Kumar, Sarbjit Singh Spariwind and Tarsem Singh Sialka.
