District Development Commissioner Ganderbal today reviewed physical and financial achievements under District Annual Plan in a meeting with all the concerned line departments. The performance of PDD, R&B, Education, Horticulture, Agriculture, Floriculture, Sheep & Animal Husbandry, Youth Services & Sports, Rural Development, Handicraft & Handloom, Health, PHE, PMEGPY, JKPCC and Municipal Committee were reviewed in detail.The District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officers and the executive agencies to gear up their men and machinery for completing developments works and achieve the set targets well in time as per approved DPR’s.District Development Commissioner Ganderbal exhorted upon the Health Department officials to make people aware about the objectives of NHM which aims to reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate in the district and stressed on involving PRI functionaries to aware the masses about various schemes.The District Development Commissioner also exhorted the officers to ensure regular monitoring of the ongoing development works of their respective departments and asked executing agencies to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the pace of works so that desired targets could be achieved well in time.
