District Development Commissioner, Shabir Ahmed Bhat today convened a high level meeting of all the district and sectoral officers in order to chart out a work plan needed to be followed up for ensuring timely collection and finalisation of relevant data required for successful implementation of NFSA as per the scheduled date.Chairing the meeting, the DDC asked Tehsildar and others members of tehsils level monitoring committee to identify the eligible households in their tehsils to be covered under priority category of NFSA.Detailed deliberations were held on the criteria set by the CA&PD Department for NFSA implementations and it was decided in the meeting that households with income less than 55000 per annum would be considered for priority category.Meanwhile, DC directed the concerned officer to work in synergy to ensure timely completion besides asking them to focus on maintaining accuracy in identification of real beneficiaries so that no deserving is left out.Additional District Development Commissioner, Avtar Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mumtaz Choudhary, besides district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
