Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sukhnandan Kumar today kicked off the works of resurfacing programme by way of macadamization on Phalamandal-Makwal Camp road.The Phalamandal road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.80 lakh would benefit a large populace living in the Marh block of Jammu.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the coalition government is making all out efforts to provide basic amenities and better services to the people. He stressed that concerted efforts are being made to improve road network in the entire state which will give a boost to the socio economic development. The Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure strict monitoring of the ongoing works so that quality of works is maintained and the projects are completed within stipulated time frame.Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) and concerned engineers and officers were also present on the occasion.
