Minister for Industries & Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga today convened a meeting to review the progress on implementation of Restructured Accelerated Power Development Reforms Programme (RAPDRP) scheme in Bari Brahmana area .The Minister was apprised about the status of the works to be executed in the area to minimize the Transmission and Distribution losses (T&D). It was also informed that works including creation of new substations, thickening of HT lines, creation of HVDS and laying of cable in LT networks will be taken up under the said scheme. Taking serious note of delay in the execution of the works, Ganga directed the concerned officers to ensure that the works are started immediately to improve power scenario in the area during the winter season.Among others, General Manager, IRCON, Rajinder Kumar Choudhary, XEN PDD, Sanjiv Bhagat, other concerned officers of the department were present in the meeting.
