Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday lashed out at the National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah for declaring Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) as the part of Pakistan.In a statement to KNS, the BJP spokesman Khalid Jehangir said, “It seems Dr Farooq is unaware about the fact that PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan are a part of India and these areas were forcibly occupied by Pakistan. India is firm on its resolve to take back these areas from Pakistan.”The BJP spokesman while taking a dig at Dr Farooq Abdullah said, “When his party was in power the NC patron used to advocate bombardment of Pakistan and PoK. Out of power he has changed his colour like a chameleon and is suggesting that PoK should be given to Pakistan.”Jehangir said, “BJP’s stand on Jammu and Kashmir is clear. JK is an integral part of India the only unsettled dispute with Pakistan is PoK, Gilgit and Baltistan.” The BJP spokesman advised National Conference patron “not to poke his nose” in foreign affairs and concentrate on local politics. “The BJP led government at the Centre knows how it has to deal with Pakistan. We don’t need any advice vis-à-vis Kashmir,” he added. (KNS)
