Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir today visited Sonawar to inspect the custodian land in the constituency. He was accompanied by Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Industry & Commerce and Power, Mohammad Ashraf Mir.The Minister visited the custodian land at Sonawar, Ishbar (Nishat) and Harwan. The Minister on the occasion reiterated that custodian land will be utilized properly for the welfare of the people and no one will be allowed to encroach or misuse the land.
At Ishbar, the Ministers inspected a patch of 33 kanal land and said that the piece of land will be developed as sports ground for the youth of the area. “We will soon hand over the land to Youth Services and Sports department following legal procedure,” Javaid Mustafa Mir added.At Harwan, Minister inspected a piece of land and said that same will be used for the construction of a community hall for the people. He also stressed on landscaping the piece of land.Meanwhile, Javaid Mustafa Mir also asked the custodian department to come up with a comprehensive plan so that custodian land in the state is better utilised for the creation of public utilities and other assets.
