CRPF donates computer equipment to Govt school

The 29 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force said that it Thursday donated computers, furniture and related study items to Government Girls School, Rawalpora here as part of civic action program.CRPF spokesman Ashish Kumar Jha in a statement to KNS said that the sole motive of donating the equipment is to promote computer education among female students of Kashmir Valley.The event was presided over by K.K. Sharma, DIG CRPF Srinagar (South) under overall supervision of Vijay Kumar Singh, Commandant 29 BN C.R.P.F in the presence of Nazma, Principal, Govt. Girls High School.While addressing the students and staff members of School, K.K. Sharma emphasized on the globalization of computer education and its significance in building a successful career in every area of interest.

He said due to violence in Kashmir valley in past few years, Technical education of students has suffered several impediments, which has affected standard of Technical education among them.“CRPF is always committed to develop strong bond with the people of Kashmir, particularly with youths and will always serve for their better future in whatever way we can.”“Nazma, Principal, Govt. Girls High School appreciated the efforts of CRPF Srinagar and presented vote of thanks to CRPF K.K.Sharma for taking this noble initiative by availing Computer Infrastructure to the school for empowering Girl Child through Computer education.” (KNS)
