Describing Congress Party as a strong and vibrant situation in all the three regions, JK PCC Chief G.A. Mir said that Congress Party is ready for challenges and would continue to perform its duty about strengthening the democratic institutions in the State. PCC Chief was addressing Senior Congress Leaders, PCC Office Bearers, Block Presidents, Contesting Candidates and Ex. Corporators of District Srinagar at Party Headquarters today.Addressing the Party Functionaries PCC Chief has said that Congress Party is ready for challenges, for the fact it (Congress Party) is strong enough in all the three regions and would continue to remain steadfast   in strengthening the people, he said.PCC Chief said that Congress Party represents aspirations of the people fully and is the only unifying force in the Country and State.

He said Congress Party would continue to remain as a bridge between Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and other communities. He reiterated Congress Party’s resolve to fight and defeat the forces and factors harming age old tradition of brotherhood and communal to benefit their vested interests, he said.Emphasizing the need for strong democratic institutions in the State, PCC Chief said that Congress Party is duty bound to strengthen the people and institutions benefitting them (people).PCC urged the Party Cadres to gear up for ULB Elections and he felt confident   that Party is ready for the challenges, ahead. He said Congress Party is committed to strengthen the democratic institutions and any move to undermine the authority of these institutions would be defeated, he assured.Prominent among others who were present on this occasion included Senior Leader and Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din, MLA & vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Former Minister Khemlata Wakhloo Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi Surinder Singh Channi, District President Abdul Gani Khan, Secretary Irfan Naqib and others.
