JKPCC Chief G. A. Mir urged Party Cadres to  remain steadfast in serving the people to the best of their ability, for the fact, Congress Party has  always worked for strengthening people and resolution of problems facing people in any part of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. PCC Chief was addressing a one day party Convention of Block Teetwal today.PCC Chief urged the Party workers to reach out to the people for resolution of issues confronting them in any respect. He said Congress Party has never indulged in discrimination and has defeated those who are discrimination with the people merely on political lines. Congress Party would continue to fight against discrimination with the people by the Coalition Govt. We have fought and would continue our fight against injustice, for the fact, Congress Party represents aspirations of the people in a true sense, he said.

PCC Chief told the Party Workers that Congress Party would continue to play its role as a responsible and constructive opposition for resolution of the multiple issues facing people in every part of the State, he said.Expressing concern over the rising unemployment, he said unemployment is a big issue and Coalition Govt led by PDP has failed to tackle it, rather they are creating more unemployment problem due to its wrong policies. There is a need for immediate measures to be taken up for curbing unemployment problem, the MLA & Vice President JK PCC Haji Abdul Rashid Dar while speaking on the occasion   accused coalition for its approach towards the people living in far flung areas, he said Coalition Govt should not discriminate with people on political lines and warned that it is fraught with dangerous consequences.Among others who spoke on the occasion included Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, General Secretaries Shoiab Nabi Lone, Surinder Singh Channi, District President Farooq Mir, Fayaz Ahmad Malik and others.
