Congress holds rally in Dooru ,Ghulam Ahmad Mir hits out at PDP-BJP Govt

Describing approach of PDP BJP Coalition towards the people as indifferent attitude, JK PCC Chief G.A. Mir has said that Coalition Government has let down the people in every respect.In a statement to KNS, Congress said that rising unemployment, lack of basic amenities, discrimination on the name of development, favoritism in allotting development projects to blue eyed persons have completely derailed the development process of the State Government.PCC Chief led a massive protest rally at Verinag in Dooru Assembly Segment against the failure of the Coalition in addressing issues confronting people. Tall claiby PDP and BJP about the development and strengthening people have proved a failure in totality. There is no sign of good governance as claimed by PDP and its alliance partner BJP, he said.The rally started from Verinag aiming to lodge a strong protest against the failures of Coalition Govt on every front, for the fact Coalition Govt is neglecting people in every respect. He lamented the fact that both PDP and BJP instead of strengthening the people are strengthening their blue eyed persons and their respective Parties, he said.

Accusing Coalition Govt for betrayal, PCC Chief said both PDP and BJP are betraying people on the name of so called good governance and development of the State, but the fact remains, coalition Govt is pushing the state towards Dark Age due to it’s wrong policies, he said.Expressing concern over the politics of exploitation by the Coalition Partners, PCC Chief said that coalition partners are misleading people on various counts. Referring to the recently announced Package by Prime Minister Narinder Modi in Srinagar, PCC Chief said that State Govt seeto be not aware about what they have got from the Centre Govt. He said the funding for mega projects were already in the pipeline and sanctioned by the UPA Govt, nothing new has been announced by the Modi Govt, he said.Castigating Coalition Govt for not addressing issues of Casual Labours, Daily Rated Workers, PCC Chief Said that Govt cannot ignore poor people who have been rendering their services for a long time. He said instead of containing unemployment problem, State Govt is deliberately creating unemployment which is fraught with dangerous consequences, he said.

Demanding waving off KCC Loans, PCC Chief hit out State Govt for ignoring the Farmers who have suffered heavily due to natural calamities or incessant rains, were promised that  KCC loans availed by them would be waved off, the irony is that they (Farmers) are still being forced to pay the loans, which is unfortunate, he said.Demanding Funds for Kapran Desa Road, PCC Chief accused Coalition Govt for discriminating with people on political lines. He said faltering development projects on political issues won’t save the sinking boat of Coalition Govt, he said.PCC Chief said that Congress Party is committed for equitable development of all the three regions of the State and assured that Congress Party would continue to fight against discrimination and anti-people policies of Coalition Govt, he said.

On this occasion PCC Chief accompanied by Senior Congress Leaders and Legislators submitted a Memorandum of demands concerning people of Dooru to Govt, but the irony is that the SDM concerned who was well informed about the deputation coming to his office with a Memorandum, deliberately remained absent, which shows how the PDP led Govt is concerned about the plight of common people, he said.Those who participated in the rally included MLA & Vice President Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, MLA Mohd Amin Bhat, MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, General Secretaries Hilal Ahmad Shah, Surinder Singh Channi, Secretary Irfan Naqib, Mohd Iqbal Mir Org.
