A Jammu court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of the four people accused in the Udhampur terror attack by 11 days."An NIA (National Investigation Agency) team today produced four main accused in Udhampur terror attack in the court of 3rd additional district and sessions judge Jammu," a senior police officer told IANS."The court extended the judicial remand of the four main accused, Muhammad Naveed alias Usman son of Muhammad Yaqoob, resident of Faisalabad, Pakistan, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat, Showkat Ahmed Bhat and Sabzar Ahmed Bhat, residents of south Kashmir in the valley, by 11 days".

Two Border Security Force (BSF) troopers were killed and 11 injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway when two Lashkar- e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists belonging to Pakistan had attacked a BSF bus on August 5.While one Pakistani terrorist identified as Noman was killed during the attack, Naveed had escaped to a nearby village where civilians overpowered him and handed him over to police. Following Naveed's disclosures to NIA investigators during custodial interrogation, five residents of the valley were arrested for having facilitated the terror attack.
