GGS-Sachdeva Group of Institutes, in association with Grewal Eye Institute, Chandigarh, organized a free eye check up camp in Gharaun campus, today. More than 500 students and staff visited the camp to avail of the opportunity of eye care. Specialized doctors / staff from Grewal Eye Hospital came to check the eyes in the camp. S.Surinder pal Singh Sachdeva & Gurmeet Singh Sachdeva, Chairperson, GGS-Sachdeva Group inaugurated the camp and said the majority of the children are not even aware of their eye sight problems especially on one of the eyes as they can see from the other eye and assume that their eye sight is normal. "They would come to know only when they go for medical checkup for an employment or for obtaining a driving license. It is very important to have regular eye checkups;" further added. Dr. G S Virdi thanked the team of Doctors for organizing eye camp and requested them to organize such camps in future also. Sachdeva College of Engineering for Girls, Gharaun, Principal, Dr. Ravinder Khanna presided over the function.
