Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings, Chaudhary Lal Singh on Tuesday urged people to come forward and donate blood to save precious lives .Speaking at a blood donation camp, organised by the State AIDS Control Society in collaboration with Department of Health at Ganderbal , the Minister stressed that a massive campaign should be launched to aware people about the importance of blood donation.The Minister exhorted that stakeholders should collectively work for generating awareness about the cause and motivate people to donate blood as this is the highest form of service to the mankind
The Minister was accompanied by Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education, Dr M.K. Bhadari, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal Showkat Aijaz Bhat , DG ISM, Dr Kabir Dar, Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr Sameer Mattoo, Project Director State AIDS Control Society, Dr Saleem Ur Rehman, Mission Director, Dr Baldev Sharma, Drug Controller, Dr Nazir Ahmad among other CMO’s BMO’s and health officials.Ch Lal Singh directed the concerned executing agency to hand over the new hospital building on priority to the department . He sought public cooperation to strengthen the developmental initiatives of the government to yield perceptible results on ground.
