Reacting to the announcement about 80,0000 Crores of Package by Prime Minister Narinder Modi, state Congress chief G.A. Mir has said it was a mere eye wash and a political gimmick to appease his coalition partner in J&K, he said.Mir castigated Prime Minister Modi for announcing ambiguous package and termed 8000 crores relief package against 44000 crores as a cruel joke, it amounts to adding salt to injuries of flood victims, he said.Hitting out at Prime Minister Narinder Modi for playing a political gimmick   with the people of J&K, PCC Chief said that from the day one Congress Party has been saying that Modi led Govt as expected was not going to address issues of flood victims, he said.

PCC Chief said that Prime Minister failed to announce much talked about peace initiative.He (G.A. Mir) said 34,000 Crore Package for J&K National Highway stands already approved by UPA Govt and the funds for Mega Projects can’t be linked with the Package for the fact these were already part of UPA Govt’s Developmental Plan, he said.Describing 80,000 Package as a mere eye wash, PCC Chief said Prime Minister has let down people of J&K State in every respect. He accused PDP led Govt for keeping people under siege for four days to pretend that the Prime Minister’s rally was successful, which is far from the reality.PCC Chief said it was ironical that thousands of non locals were hired for participating in the PMs Rally.
