Kashmiris have witnessed many theaters from Jashn-I-Kashmir till today’s Modi rally but these dramas have and will never succeed in weakening our desire and resolve for freedom, JKLF chairman Yasin Malik has said in a statement.“Our Reply to Mr Modi is same as of Ghandi Jee who once told a British leader that self respect and freedom of his nation is more dearer to him than the progress and prosperity under occupation,” said Malik.“Kashmiris through their historical shutdown and civil curfew have given a befitting reply to Modi jee and his Kashmiri stooges for which Kashmiris deserve our heartiest congratulations,” said Malik in a statement which says he is incarcerated.Malik said that the way people of Kashmir today observed a total strike and civil curfew for which the call was given by JKLF and supported by many resistance parties, has once again proved the fact that people of Kashmir love freedom more than anything.

He said that we had asked people to observe strike in case occupational authorities chose to ban million March and today after Million March was stopped by military might, people of Kashmir gave befitting reply to India and its Kashmiri stooges by observing a historical civil curfew. On Indian prime minister’s statement that Kashmir was India’s integral part and that India will provide Kashmir everything for development and progress, Yasin Malik said that our reply to Modi Jee is same as of Indian father of nation Ghandi Jee who once was asked by a British leader to shun his freedom struggle as Indians lacked knowledge and money for development and that under British rule they could prosper more, Ghandi Jee replied that he loved freedom of his nation and self respect more that the money and development of British and that his nation will give every sacrifice needed for the liberation from illegal Occupation.

Yasin Malik said that Kashmiris have witnessed many theaters like today’s Modi rally. From Jashn I Kashmir till today these dramas have been played but neither in past and nor in future will these succeed in weakening our resolve for freedom. He said that instead of this these kinds of gimmicks provide us new strength to keep on resisting the powers of oppression and tyranny.

Terming today’s historical protest strike as an eye opener for India and its Kashmiri stooges, JKLF incarcerated chairman said that all resistance parties had decided to hold a parallel political rally against the one held for Indian prime minister Nerander Modi and we had asked people to observe a complete shut down and civil curfew incase rulers chose to ban the peaceful program of resistance camp namely million march. He said that from 31stOctober 2015, rulers chose to crackdown on resistance camp and started arresting leaders and activists and according to some reports during last 8 days more than 5000 people were either arrested or raided by police and forces thus choking every little chance and space for the million march and hence people of Kashmir had left with no other option but to show their resilience and protest through total shut down and civil curfew.Yasin Malik said that the way people of Kashmir despite intimidations, bribe, oppressive measures, arrests, restrictions and barricades observed a total strike and civil curfew against Modi show have replied PDP led oppressive regime with their resilience and a show of solidarity with the freedom movement.

He said that shamelessly PDP and other stooges of RSS today tried to fill the venue by police personal in plain clothes, daily wagers, Aanganwadi workers, non permanent employees and even Biharees, but exemplary strike and civil curfew has defeated all these shameless acts of PDP led government for which people of Kashmir deserve our heartiest congratulations and applauds .He said that the oppression and reign of terror unleashed by PDP government, their police and occupational authorities to make their master’s show successful have exposed all their hollow slogans like battle of ideas and today these hypocrites should know that by unleashing terror they and their politics stand fully exposed now. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik is lodged at police station Kothibagh along with Javed Ahmad Mir(Hurriyat m), Shabir Ahmad Dar (Hurriyat JK), Noor Muhammad Kalwal( zonal president JKLF), Basher Ahmad Kashmiri( zonal organizer JKLF), senior resistance member Muhammad Amin Magloo, Firdous Ahmad shah (Hurriyat G) Abdul Rashid lone etc while as JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi is lodged at Bemina police station and deputy chief organizer Mir Siraj ud din Davood, district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather(Boya), JKLF district president Kupwara Muhammad Rafiq war ,district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, district president Islamabad Muhammad ishaaq ganai, activist Mushtaq Ahmad Koreg, Muhammad Altaf Raina, Fayaz Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Ayub Naikoo, Muhammad Rajab ,Tanveer Ahmad from Kangan and Imtiyaz Ahmad  from Bijebihara, Fayaz Ahmad Lone and Imtiyaz Ahmad from Srinagar  , Muhammad Ramzan Sofi from Budgam and others etc are languishing in other police stations. Police during last eight days raided hundreds of JKLF leaders and activists including vice chairman advocate Basher Ahmad Butt, secretary general Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal vice president senior Muhammad Yasin Butt,  Ashraf bin salam district president Pulwama Javed Ahmad Butt, district president Bandipora Nisar Jeelani, district president Baramullah Abdul Rashid Magloo,Mushtaq Ahmad Hajin, Tariq Ahmad,  and many others.
