With a view to carry forward vision of Digital India program Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized flash mob with the theme of Celebrating Technology. Flash mob showed digital India would empower every citizen with access to digital services, knowledge and information. It would aim to transform the country into a digitally empowered knowledge economy. It also briefed that technologies were being increasingly used in everyday lives, from retail stores to government offices.

It later, showed that mobile governance is the key which needs proper speedy infrastructural development in villages to make this programme a success through digital literacy.While explaining the importance of Digital India Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that to promote technology and Digital Indian program techno cultural fest is also to organized 2nd Nov under the theme Celebrating Technology in which as many as 10,000 students from various colleges, Polytechnics and schools of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh would be participating.
