The meeting of Public Accounts Committee was held today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Mian Altaf Ahmad to discuss the observations raised by the CAG regarding different Audit Paras.The members of the Committee including Legislators, M.Y Tarigami, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Farooq Andrabi, Zafar Iqbal Manhas, Mohammad Khalil Bandh and Dr. Shehnaz Ganai were present in the meeting.The meeting discussed various audit paras threadbare and dwelt upon the measures taken to address these.The Chairman asked for examining all cases with due consideration so that they are resolved once for all. He also suggested that government land should be preferred for any development or public welfare purpose.Divisional Commissioners of Kashmir and Jammu, Secretary Revenue, representatives from CAG besides Deputy Commissioners Srinagar, Budgam, Anantnag, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur were also present in the meeting.
