Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar, accompanied by District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, visited Dub Ganderbal on Ashura eve, to take stock of situation there.The Minister went around Imambaras in the area to take stock of arrangements provided by district administration. Expressing satisfaction over arrangements provided by the district administration, he said that Imam Hussain (AS) symbolizes firm faith in Almighty, high principals of righteousness, purity of thought and highest degree of sacrifice to uphold truth and human dignity.He said that Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions exhibited unparallel courage and patience, and made historic sacrifices at Karbala which would enlighten and guide the mankind forever.Among others, SP Ganderbal and SE R&B were also present on the occasion.
