Recording unprecedented rush, around 258946 pilgrims visited holy town Katra and paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi ji Shrine during Navratra days this year.As per Yatra registration counter (YRC), SMVDSB, Katra, about 25521 pilgrins visited  the  shrine on 8th  day of  Navratra festival 2015 , while  13000  paid obeisance on 9th day, till 5.am.Pilgrim rush during this year’s Navratras witnessed a considerable increase with 258946 arrivals  as against last year’s number of  209774.District administration Reasi in collaboration with Tourism department, SMDSB and other local agencies have made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of Navratra festival 2015.
