Australian Delegation Calls On Gulzar Singh Ranike

A high level delegation from Australia today called on Gulzar Singh Ranike, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fishery Minister to mutually exchange the latest technological inputs in the field of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development. Chris Elstoft, Deputy High Commissioner of Australia in India, Ashish Sharma and Leena Kukreja were part of the visiting delegation.During the bilateral talks Chris Elstoft shared the latest technology and other inputs that are being practiced in Australia in the field of Dairy Development and Animal Husbandry. Likewise Ranike also exchanged the information on the technology being used in Punjab in the same field. Elstoft expressed keen interest to understand the development made by the Punjab in the field of Dairy Development and Animal Husbandry and envisaged that there was lot of potential for the further development of such subsidiary occupations. Ranike also discussed various issues with Elstoft to boost commercial trade with Australia in these sectors.Prominent amongst those present at the occasion included Mandeep Singh Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary, Dr. H.S.Sandha Director Animal Husbandry Department, Mr. Inderjit Singh Director Dairy Development and Dr. Madan Mohan Director Fishery Department.
